A full open lid with a pull ring: the entire top lifts away instead of opening a small aperture. That matters when the contents aren't meant to be drunk through a hole, such as layered desserts, granola and yoghurt pots, nuts, dried fruit. The customer gets a clear opening the full width of the can and can eat straight out of it with a spoon.

Why this lid

• Full-width opening: the whole lid comes off, so a spoon or fork fits and thick contents scoop out cleanly.

Other openings. Packing a drink rather than a food product? A standard ring lid gives a drinking aperture and keeps the tab attached. It is available in green, red and matte black. There's also a full open version without a ring for a cleaner top surface. Custom colours on request.
